Who we are & What we do
Promoting Culture and Education
African Culture
African culture is incredibly diverse, comprising a multitude of languages, traditions, art forms, music, dance, and storytelling. Preserving and celebrating African culture is essential for fostering a sense of identity and pride among African communities. It also serves as a valuable resource for tourism and economic development.
Cultural preservation can be achieved through various means, such as promoting local arts and crafts, preserving indigenous languages, supporting cultural festivals, and integrating cultural education into formal and informal learning settings.
Education
Education is crucial for empowering individuals, reducing inequality, and promoting socioeconomic development. Enhancing the quality and accessibility of education in Africa is vital for eradicating poverty.
Investing in Communities
- Our project introduced the young people and women to opportunities in civic engagement, work experience, internship and graduate programmes, work with colleges and universities linking into areas such as environmental management and climate change.
- We worked also with organisations to support entrepreneurship through participatory budgeting.
- We have given ‘hands on’ support to the young people/women and their families by providing opportunities for them to be engaged at a community level.
